A Message From The Photographer:

Welcome to B & T Imaging. I specialize in Family Portraiture, which means I will create a portrait or album of your Family, Children, and definitely your pet.

I do not charge a session fee, session retainer, or have a minimum order. Frankly, I wouldn't want to pay those fees if I were having a portrait made so you don't have to as well. Besides, I guarantee my work so I am not afraid that you'll not love your portraits.

Where do you start? It all starts with either a phone call (913.780.5496) or an email (tim@BandTimaging.com). From there we setup a time for a consultation. This is a quick meeting where we discuss what your needs and expectations are.

We will go over clothing options, potential portrait sizes, pricing, and this meeting allows me to meet any children or pets before the session. As you may know it sometimes takes a while for children and pets to warm up to a stranger and I hope we can minimize that time by meeting before the session.

If you like my style and want to setup a consultation please feel free to contact me.

Biography

Tim’s interest in photography started in high school while taking his first photography course as a freshman at Blue Valley North High School. The magic of seeing an image appear on paper while working in the darkroom intrigued him. He worked as a photographer for the high school newspaper for two years and during his senior year became the photography editor.

Tim attended college at Kansas State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management. While Tim was at the University he worked as a wedding photographer’s assistant, driving back to Kansas City every weekend to assist in photographing weddings. This experience transitioned him from 35mm to medium format film. Tim also worked as a candid photographer for a local Manhattan newspaper.

After graduation Tim worked for a high volume contract studio in Overland Park, at the time where digital photography was becoming popular. Tim helped the studio in designing a digital work flow that allowed them to bridge the gap from being film-based to using digital capture.

After living in Iowa for 18 months, Tim moved back to Olathe and began working for Attig Photography, a studio here in Olathe with 30 years' experience in portraiture. In this role Tim has become more passionate about his craft, constantly learning and applying new techniques to perfect the art of his photography via digital and film. He regularly attends seminars and schools, studying the masters of canvas and print, and surveying fashion to keep his mind fresh and on the edge of latest trends and technology, which has served him well as he brings his vision to you.

Tim is currently serving on the board of directors for the Professional Photographers Association of Greater Kansas City.
